High Dynamic Range (HDR) images is a process that allows photographer to create a high range of luminosity between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than any other standard photographic techniques.
It is achieved by taking series of images using exposure bracketing and merging the photographs, adjust contrast ratios to create an image impossible to take with a single aperture and shutter speed.
The photographer in this image used 1 raw converted to 5 different exposures all with a difference of 1 EV. The photos were then merged to HDR in photomatix, then used CS3 for further enhancement.
Aperture: f/22
